Ruby on Rails Developer

We are hiring a Ruby developer with some experience (even if Open Source only) for a very cool project. The project will involve interesting technologies like EC2, Chef, Virtual Machines orchestration and is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting edge areas. We believe the project we’re building will have great impact in software deployment choices.

We are looking for someone to work remotely and instead of a normal interview process, we’re thinking about having the chosen person to work with us for a week, either pairing side by side here in Brazil or remotely, anywhere in the world.

Prerequisites:

Programmer at heart, who is excited to work with cutting edge technology and an exciting team in a cool project
Some experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
BDD and/or TDD – preferrable with RSpec

Pluses:

Linux administration
Xen virtualization (or any virtualization)
EC2 and AWS automation
MongoDB
node.js
